2018 - Single Damai Natal (ft. Wangak)
In 2018 Black met with a group, calling themselves Wangak, from Maumere in Yogyakarta. They found similarities in playing music using traditional Flores instruments such as the Bijol, Totobuang and Gong Waning.
They came up with the idea to make a Christmas-themed song that was different from the ones already popular in Indonesia. “I think the Christmas songs that are popular in Indonesia are mostly just raw adaptations of conditions outside Indonesia. Cook singing about snow while there isn't snow here, ”explained Black.In the song entitled "Damai Natal", Black Finit tells the story of how the people in their area celebrate Christmas. This acoustic song has a party nuance using their traditional musical instruments. ““Suka cita melanda, telah tiba Desember. Suara dentum meriam, lampu – lampu di pohon”.
Black added that Christmas for himself is no longer just a celebration for a certain religion in the lyrics “Peluk cium tersayang, orang orang tercinta, segala umat bersatu, rayakan damai Natal”.Which means: "Dear kissers, loved ones, all people are united, celebrate the peace of Christmas".
The single Black Finit (feat. Wangak) "Damai Natal" was officially released to coincide with Christmas day, December 25 2018 through digital music stores such as iTunes, Spotify and others. (Doggyhouse, 2019)
